So next Wednesday Mike and I get to find out what this little bun in the oven is cookin'! Boy or girl? Olivia has since day one practically said that it is going to be a baby brother! I think that she is aware if it is another girl, she is going to have to share a lot of her things...not cool. Mike and I think that she is going to be a great big sister. In a way it saddens me because I am no longer going go give my little Olivia 100% of my time, its going to have to be divided. I obviously don't know how to do that, but I figure Mike and I will learn. Most importantly, I want her to always know how adored and loved she is by us, and that she doesn't feel excluded. I have a lot of mama's out there who have given me some great advice.
Mike has been so amazing throughout this pregnancy. My first trimester was brutal. I was tired and sick to my stomach all day and night. I had no energy to cook, clean or even spend time with Olivia. It was really hard on me emotionally because I wanted to be there for my family and I felt like I was letting them down. Almost everyday after I got home Mike would care for Olivia while I went to bed at 6:45 or 7!! Amazing husband and father he has been and still is. Ever day he makes me feel beautiful and loves to touch this budda belly of mine! What can I say, I'm blessed.
Alright.....enough rambling. I will keep my blog updated for the latest on baby! Hopefully this little one's legs won't be crossed during the ultrasound!!! Then we will have to keep waiting! Till then.....

Dreaming.....
I have been soooo excited and very impatient to find out the gender of this baby! Mike and I have been throwing around some names that we really like. I haven't told Mike that I am set on a girl's name. I heard the name on TV the other day and it was beautiful. Instantly I told myself "that's it.....I KNOW this is the perfect name for a baby girl. Now, since I am convinced I am having a girl, I haven't given much thought to many boy names. People ask me all the time, how do you know it's a girl? Don't you want a little boy since you have a girl already? Answer is like most parents feel: all we want is a healthy baby....BUT, I already know everything about little girls. If we have a boy, it will be a whole different ballpark for me, but hey, I can learn and I know it will be fun. Either way, it's a blessing.
When I was pregnant with Olivia, I was sooo ready to meet her. I would be in my second trimester and look at the calender and moan because Aug 2 (Olivia's original due date) seemed so far away. Hurry up time I would tell myself...this is going to take forever! Well, surprise! Olivia arrived a month early and as overwhelmed and excited as I was to see this miracle that has grown inside my tummy for the first time, I was shocked because I wasn't prepared for her early arrival! We still didn't have her baby bedding, mattress, baby cloths washed, car seat in the car, nothing! Thankfully, I have the most amazing parents and they took care of all of that fore me while I was in the hospital. So with this pregnancy I am trying to really enjoy this time....to savor the little kicks and movements that are happening at this moment. I know time is going to fly, and I want to look back and know I enjoyed my BIG pregnant belly and embrace my changing figure. I don't want to freak out from every little pound I put on here and there because hey, I am not going to be pregnant forever!

Ever Expanding Belly.....
Well, here I am. I have been contemplating whether to start a blog of my family and this growing belly of mine! In the past, I was an advid journalist. I would write about anything and everything that was going on in my life. I shortly stopped after I graduatd from High School and have missed it since. Now, I do keep a journal for our daughter Olivia. She has inspired me to start sharing things with family and friends. You know, kids grow up to fast so I want to keep everyone informed on anything exciting of perhaps not so exciting events that take place in the Potter household! So here I go.....we will see how well I keep up with this!!
